How much does water damage restoration cost?

It depends on the size of the area, water category, materials and how long the water sat. Small Category 1 jobs may be in the hundreds to low thousands of dollars; large or contaminated losses can cost much more. Ask the provider for a written estimate and whether they work directly with your insurer.

Will my homeowners insurance pay?

Sudden, accidental damage like a burst pipe is often covered. Gradual leaks, rising floodwater and sewer backups are commonly excluded unless you have specific coverage. Check your policy.

How fast can someone arrive?

Response times vary by provider availability and time of day. The provider will give you an estimated arrival time when you call.

Are you the company that does the work?

No. We're a referral service. Your call is connected to an independent local restoration provider who performs and bills for the work.

Can I dry it out myself with fans?

For a small, clean spill caught immediately, maybe. But fans don't remove water trapped under flooring or inside walls, and in our humidity hidden moisture often leads to mold. Moisture meters are the only way to know it's dry.

I live in Fort Stewart housing. Who do I call?

Contact your on-post housing maintenance office first; they handle repairs to the home. See our Fort Stewart page for more.

How long will drying take?

Typically three to five days for most residential jobs, longer for hardwood, plaster or crawlspaces.

Do I need to leave my home?

Usually not for clean-water jobs. For sewage, extensive mold or major flooding, temporary relocation may be safer; ask whether your policy covers additional living expenses.

What areas do you cover?

Hinesville, Fort Stewart, Flemington, Walthourville, Allenhurst, Midway, Riceboro, and nearby Richmond Hill.

Water on the floor right now?

Shut off the water if you safely can, keep away from wet outlets, and call. We'll connect you with an available local restoration provider.
